Holy crap…with a little tuning, this thing RIPS. Installed the TC500 on my XXX, along with the TM25 and Chi 72V, no issues.
Off rip I’m going to recommend you turn your throttle curve way up…just be ready when that mid range power kicks in.
All the hype is real.
It’s easy to install, lightweight, and easy to tune. Couldn’t ask for much more.

Way easier install than almost any other upgrade. I have way too many friends that have tried my surron and looped it out from under themselves due to lack of good throttle curve. The XX model is especially bad about this. The torp controllers are great at letting you set how aggressive you want the throttle to be so it won't output max power at 0 rpm even if someone opens the throttle all the way. It can progressively ease onto the throttle even if a new rider doesn't.
I also love it for myself being able to change my tune in a few seconds on my phone for how I like to ride my bike so it's not stuck in limited friend mode.
I've also had a crash sensor break and the ability to just turn it or the kickstand off is a great fallback to help not get stranded if something breaks out on the trail.
A must have for snow bike kits to smooth out the throttle shake at low speeds.
