Warp 9 Heavy Duty Rim Strips
Our own heavy-duty rubber rim strips, made to our spec for spoked dirt bike, supermoto and e-moto wheels. The strip sits in the well of the rim and covers the spoke nipples so they can't chafe or puncture the tube.
What makes them different
- Heavy-duty 0.98 mm rubber. A thick strip that holds up to low pressure and hard hits, with a valve stem hole. No rim lock hole: the strip sits on top of the rim lock.
- Sized by rim width, not just diameter. Each strip is cut to the width of the rim it fits, so it covers every nipple head without bunching up in the well.
- Made to our rim measurements. Lengths are set from the perimeter of the rims we build with, so the strip sits snug and doesn't creep around the rim.
- Wide supermoto sizes. 38 mm and 55 mm strips for wide 17" supermoto rims, sizes that are hard to find elsewhere.

Size chart
Pick the strip by rim diameter and rim width. The width is usually stamped on the rim (for example 1.60 x 21 or 4.25 x 17).

Good to know
- For tube-type wheels only. Tubeless setups need rim tape, not a rim strip.
- Replace the strip whenever you fit a new tube. A worn or shifted strip is a common cause of slow leaks.
- Rebuilding a wheel? Every spoked rim takes one of these strips. The 38 mm and 55 mm strips are the supermoto front and rear sizes.
